Time is an irreversible quality of
life that we play back in our minds through fragments of memory. We constantly
chase the past in order to stay present and keep up with the future. Yoga’s
focus is to flow the past present and the future together to create a binding
moment of now. For me yoga stops time, it not longer needs to exist. You are
just one with your breath with no need for an atomic calculation directing your
movement. I have tried to separate the flow of yoga through a photographic
memory to show that you can add time to something that rejects time, while
trying not to lose the flow by positioning the sequence as one piece of time
rather than one moment. Separate, a moment means nothing it’s the before and
after that make the memory.
